TA1295 Image

The TA1295 is an S-Band Power Amplifier circuit card, designed for low earth space applications. It has been built to the stringent requirements of the CubeSat industry. The amplifier provides 2.5 Watt of linear power (3.2W PSat) from 2 to 2.5 GHz with over 24 dB of gain. It requires a DC supply of 7V and draws 2.3 Amps of current. The TA1295 has been engineered to support any signal type, from simple CW/FM signals to complex, highly modulated carriers such as 32APSK. It supports UART communications for RF output power, DC current draw, and temperature reporting. It has controllable on/off control and thermal shut-off thresholds. The is available as a circuit card that measures 3.075 x 1.305 x 0.15 inches.
