The TA4010 from Triad RF Systems is a Class AB GaN Amplifier that operates from 4400 to 5000 MHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 50 W (47 dBm) with a gain of 28 dB and has a switching time of 1 uS. The amplifier can support any signal type and modulation format, including but not limited to 3G/4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM. It utilizes GaN transistor technology to achieve high linear power with low distortion, and peak power at high efficiencies. The amplifier offers forward power measurement, over-temperature protection, status monitoring, and over/under/reverse voltage protection. It requires a DC supply of 12-28 V.
The TA4010 is available in a module that measures 5.3 x 3.25 x 0.6 Inches with SMA Female connectors and is ideal for simple CW to highly modulated signals, commercial/military radio systems, software-defined radios, and general purpose RF amplification applications.
The amplifier is available with an optional heatsink.
