The TTRM2005D from Triad RF Systems is a Dual Bi-Directional Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2.2 to 2.5 GHz. This class AB amplifier uses the latest LDMOS transistor technology to achieve highly linear power with low distortion, or peak power at high efficiencies to meet any radio system's requirements. On the Tx side, it delivers 25 dB of gain, while on the Rx side, it has a P1dB of 5 dBm with a gain of 12 dB and has a noise figure of less than 2.5 dB. The amplifier requires a DC supply voltage of 28 V and consumes 250 mA of current.
The TTRM2005D SSPA module has been engineered to support any signal type, from simple CW/FM signals to complex, highly modulated carriers such as 64 and 256QAM. Other modulation formats include those used in 3G/4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM. It is available in a module that measures 3.4 x 2.6 x 0.65 inches with SMP (F) connectors and is ideal for use in simple CW to highly modulated signals, software-defined radios, general-purpose RF amplification, and military/commercial radio systems.
