The TTRM2005DR from Triad RF Systems is a Dual Bi-Directional Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2200 to 2500 MHz. This SSPA delivers a saturated output power of 25 W (~44 dBm) with a gain of 25 dB. It can be manually or automatically switched between Tx and Rx paths and has a Tx/Rx switching time of less than 2 µs. The amplifier employs the latest design technologies and design methods to achieve high power density, efficiency, and linearity in a small, lightweight package. It supports a wide range of signal types and modulation formats, including 3G/4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM.

The TTRM2005DR is equipped with built-in over-temperature protection circuitry to prevent over-heating related damages and monitors the temperature at the output. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes 100 mA of current. This SSPA is available in a small and lightweight module that measures 3.25 x 3.75 x 1.90 inches with TNC (female) connectors and is ideal for use in commercial and military applications.
