The Model 1167T-500-1030 from TSL is a Compact Solid-State Pulsed Transmitter designed primarily for IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) applications requiring reliable state of the art high power amplifiers. It operates at 1030 MHz (1090 MHz option also available) and provides an output power of 500 W, has a duty of 1% (longer for short duration transients) and a pulse width of up to 32 µs. It requires a power supply of 50 V and operates over a temperature range of -10° to +50° C.
This amplifier is available in a module measuring 5.0 x 2.8 x 1.3 Inches with SMA connectors. It complies with IFF Modes 1, 2, 3/A and Mode C and is ideal for usage in Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) applications.
