Series 1100 Image

The Series 1100 L-Band Airborne Amplifiers from TSL have been developed for Identification Friend-or-Foe (IFF) and for Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) applications. They are designed to operate at 1030 MHz and/or 1090 MHz. The amplifiers provide an output power from 5 to 4000 W, have a duty cycle of 1 - 2% (25% short-term) and a pulse width of up to 35 µs.

The Series 1100 are state-of-the-art power amplifier that utilize the latest in Bipolar and LDMOS technologies. Designs include Differential Phase Shift Keying (DPSK) modulation providing digitized cosine form transitions for rise and fall times. Some models are available with High Speed Pulse Suppression.

These amplifiers comply with IFF Modes 1, 2, 3A & C, 4, ,5, and Mode S-ELM designed to meet the demanding standards of DoD AIMS97-1000, RTCA/DO-181C, and STANAG 4193. Series 1100 products are in use worldwide in IFF Transponders and in the US Army Model PPX-3 IFF Interrogator.
