The USMC0125L from US Microwave Laboratories is a Low Noise Broadband Pre-Amplifier that operates from 100 MHz to 18 GHz. It provides a linear gain of 24.5 dB with a noise figure of 3 dB and has a P1dB from 12 to 16 dBm. This amplifier is ideal for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and certification, antenna field measurements, and communication systems. The low noise figure and high gain of the module permit the visualization of signals that would otherwise appear below the noise floor in a radiated emissions test.
The amplifier is internally matched to 50-ohms and has an optional built-in battery and smart charger. It requires an external DC supply of 12 V and draws 190 mA of current. This IP65 and RoHS-compliant amplifier is available in a module that measures 4.25 x 2.31 x 6.73 Inches with SMA – Female and N Type - Female connectors.
