The VRFA0026-BD from Viper RF is a X-Band GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 8 to 11 GHz. The amplifier can provide a gain of 23 dB with a noise figure of 1 dB. It requires a 3 V supply and draws 80 mA of current. The RF ports of the LNA are DC blocked and matched to 50 ohms. This amplifier can be used in a wide range of applications including point to point radios, VSAT, radar and test & instrumentation. It is available as a 1.5mm x 1mm x 0.05mm die.
