Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifier Image

The Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) from Withwave operates from 4 to 8 GHz. It provides a gain from 36 to 45 dB with a noise figure of less than 0.05 dB and a noise temperature of up to 3.6 K. This LNA uses InP HEMT technology and it is tested and verified using Withwave’s 4 K cryogenic measurement system.

This cryogenic amplifier requires a DC supply of 0.86 V and consumes 10.5 mA of current. It is available in an Aluminum housing that measures 25.00 x 23.45 x 7.80 mm and has 2.92 mm (female) connectors. The amplifier is ideal for quantum computing, communications, radio astronomy, and space applications.
