The HL9409 from Hyperlabs is an RF Balun that operates from 500 kHz to 100 GHz. It can handle an input power of up to 1 W (30 dBm) and has an insertion loss of 6.5 dB. This 50-ohm balun has an amplitude balance of ±0.5 dB and a phase balance of ±15° at 80 GHz. It employs attenuators to improve isolation when the device is used as a signal combiner using differential signals with unmatched source impedance.
This RoHS compliant balun is available in a surface-mount package that measures 50.0 × 35.6 × 10.2 mm and is ideal for use in PAM4 communications systems, high-speed analog-to-digital conversion, frequency response testing for differential devices and other applications.
