The HL9491 from Hyperlabs is Surface Mount RF Balun that operates from 1 MHz to 20 GHz. This balun can convert an unbalanced 50 ohms signal to a precision-balanced differential signal. The balun is bi-directional and can also be used as high-precision signal combiners (differential to single-ended) with excellent CMRR and minimal harmonic distortion. It can be thought of as an ultra-broadband 180° signal splitter/combiner that offers excellent amplitude and phase match over its entire frequency range.
The balun is suitable for use in 112 Gbps PAM4 communications systems, high-speed analog-to-digital conversion, frequency response testing for differential devices, and many other applications. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 27.94 x 5.08 x 3.30 mm.
