The IPP-5008 is an RF balun that operates from 0.8 to 2.5 GHz. This 3-port transformer converts between a balanced signal (one signal referenced to ground) and an unbalanced signal (two signals referenced to each other). The balun has an insertion loss of under 0.45 dB and can handle an input power of up to 100 watts. It has been tuned for an optimal amplitude balance of 0.4 dB and phase balance of 8 degrees. The balun is available in a 1.10 x 1.15 inches surface mount package.
