The BAL-0006SMG from Marki Microwave is a surface mount broadband balun (Balanced to Unbalanced Transformer) that operates from 500 kHz to 6 GHz. It transforms a 50-ohm input into a 100-ohm Differential output. The balun has an insertion loss of under 7 dB, an isolation of 8 dB and common-mode rejection of 30 dB. It has been tuned for an optimal amplitude/phase balance of 0.4 dB and 3 degrees with a VSWR of 1.50:1. It can be used in analog to digital converters, balanced receivers, baseband digital modulation and signal integrity.
