The BAL-0050 from Marki Microwave is a Balun that operates from 300 kHz to 50 GHz. It is an 1:2 transformer (50 ? unbalanced, 100 ? differential/50 ? balanced port). It has an amplitude balance from 0.7 to 1.4 dB and phase balance of 4 degrees with an insertion loss of under 6 dB. The balun is ideal for analog to digital converters, balanced receivers, baseband digital modulation and signal integrity applications. It is particularly suited to testing poorly matched or non 50 ? devices or for extending 2 port VNAs for differential testing.
