The TMC810-1 from mmTron is an RF Balun that operates from 3 to 18 GHz. It converts a balanced signal to an unbalanced signal (and vice-versa) with a phase match of 1° and an amplitude balance of 0.4 dB. This 50-ohm balun is fabricated with high power, high Q GaAs process, and has a common mode rejection of 35 dB. It has an insertion loss of 2 dB and a return loss of 10 dB. This balun has AC-coupled balanced ports that eliminate the need for external blocking capacitors. It has a symmetrical die layout that measures 1.25 x 2.17 mm and can be assembled in multi-chip modules or in an air-cavity QFN package for surface-mount assembly. This balun is ideal for RF systems with balanced & unbalanced signals and high-speed digital systems requiring balanced to unbalanced transformers.
