The TMC810-1D from mmTron is a GaAs Balun MMIC that operates from 3 to 18 GHz. It converts a balanced signal to an unbalanced signal with an impedance ratio of 1:2. This 50-ohm balun has a phase balance of 1° and an amplitude balance of 0.4 dB. It is fabricated using a GaAs technology and exhibits low-loss, tight gain, phase matching, and high-power handling capabilities. This balun provides common mode rejection of 35 dB and has an insertion loss of 2 dB.
The TMC810-1D is available either as a die that measures 1.25 x 2.17 x 0.01 mm or in a DFN package measuring 3 x 3 x 0.5 mm. It is ideal for 5G wireless, SATCOM, instrumentation, WLAN, WiMax, high-speed track-and-hold amplifiers, digital-to-analog converters, balanced amplifiers, signal integrity and military radar & EW applications.
