The DFP-102RB from Metropole Products is a High-Performance Diplexer, used to provide two separate frequency channels to/from a common RF signal source, such as an antenna. It provides a receive channel from 240 to 270 MHz and a transmit channel from 290 to 400 MHz. This passive and bilateral diplexer can be used to combine the two channels. In the Rx channel, it can handle up to 2 W of power, has a passband loss of less than 1.3 dB, a VSWR of under 1.5:1, and a stopband loss of more than 40 dB. In the Tx channel, the diplexer can handle up to 200 W of power, has a passband loss of less than 0.9 dB, a stopband loss of more than 80 dB, and a VSWR of less than 1.4:1.
This rugged diplexer is available in a module that measures 8.75 x 4.00 x 1.5 inches with N-type female connectors and is suitable to couple 240 to 270 MHz UHF SATCOM downlink signals, from an antenna to a receiver and simultaneously couple uplink signals from a 290 to 400 MHz transmitter to the antenna.
