The PPA Series from Inmet by Spectrum Control are high power attenuators that operate from DC to 4 GHz. The attenuators have been developed using a Beryllium Oxide chip and thin film technology to provide devices which can dissipate up to 100 Watts of RF power. They are available in multiple attenuation configurations from 1 to 20 dB with 1 dB increments. The PPA series must be thermally bonded to a heat sink, using mounting holes provided. The flange temperatures must not exceed 100 Degrees C under rated power conditions. They are matched to 50 Ohms and are RoHS complaint.
