The ACLM5022C110 from Cobham is a X-band coaxial limiter that operates from 8 to 12 GHz. It can handle up to 25 Watts of CW power over the full temperature range from -55°C up to 85°C. The limiter has a flat leakage of below 15 dBm and a recovery time of 200 nsec. When operating in a small signal environment, insertion loss is less than 1.5 dB and VSWR is less than 1.5:1. It is available in a compact module with field replaceable SMA connectors and is an ideal solution for receiver protection in radar, electronic warfare (EW), electronic countermeasures (ECM), communications, and test systems. Hermetic seal and MIL-screening are available upon request. The limiter can be customized to accommodate additional frequency ranges, mechanical package requirements, and connector configurations.
