The RLM-23+ from Mini-Circuits is an RF Limiter that operates from 950 to 2050 MHz. It can handle an input power of up to 1 W, protects against strong undesired signals, and prevents burn-out of amplifiers and the saturation of sensitive IF circuitry. This limiter has an insertion loss of 0.7 dB and a VSWR of less than 1.6:1. It has a recovery time of 8 ns and a response time of 2 ns to react almost instantaneously to limit unwanted high-level signals. This limiter provides exceptional protection for IF circuits in satellite receivers, or low noise amplifiers in hostile environments where unwanted signals prevail, such as in manufacturing sites, train tunnels, etc.
The RLM-23+ is constructed on a microstrip low loss dielectric material and is available in a high-volume, low-cost package that measures 12.7 x 12.7 x 4.57 mm. It is ideal for military, high-reliable applications, stabilizing generator outputs, reducing amplitude variations, and protecting low-noise amplifiers and other devices from ESD or input power damage.
