The RFLM-102402Q(E/F)-290 from RFuW Engineering is a Quasi Active PIN Diode Limiter Module that operates from 1 to 4 GHz. This L & S-band module provides passive receiver protection (always on) which protects against a high average power of up to 100 watts and a high peak power of up to 1 kW. It maintains low flat leakage of less than 14 dBm and reduces spike leakages to less than 0.5 ergs.
The module has been designed to have a very low small-signal insertion loss of 0.5 dB, permitting an extremely low receiver noise figure while simultaneously offering excellent large input signal flat leakage for effective receiver protection in the S-Band frequency range. This RoHS-compliant limiter module has excellent thermal characteristics and is available in a surface-mount package that measures 5 x 8 x 2.5 mm. The device is based on a hybrid assemble technique which makes it ideal for use in mission-critical applications.
