The LTC5555 is a programmable gain downconverting mixer ideal for receivers that require a precise gain setting. The IC consists of an active mixer and a digital IF VGA with 15.5 dB gain control range. The IF gain is programmed in 0.5 dB steps through the SPI or parallel interface. The mixer is optimized for the 3 to 7 GHz RF frequency range but may be used down to 1.5 GHz with degraded performance.

The LTC5555 is available in a 4 x 5 mm QFN package and is ideal for wireless repeaters, military radar, software defined radios and test & measurement applications.
