CMD310C3 Image

The CMD310C3 from Qorvo is a GaAs Sub-Harmonic Mixer with an RF/LO frequency from 20 to 32 GHz and IF Frequency from DC to 7 GHz. The mixer has an integrated LO amplifier and can be used as an upconverter or downconverter. The device has a low conversion loss of 8.5 dB and excellent LO to RF Isolation of 36 dB eliminating the need for additional filtering.

Sub-harmonic mixers are driven by a local oscillator (LO) signal that is an integer fraction, or sub-harmonic, of the desired LO frequency. This mixer operates with an x2 LO, meaning the user needs to provide the mixer with a LO at half the desired mixing frequency. It requires only -2 dBm LO drive and operates on a single positive supply voltage. The CMD310C3 is available in a leadless 3 x 3 mm surface-mount QFN package.
