The MixNV is a software programmable RF mixer which can up-convert, down-convert, or act as an RF Signal Generator. It can operate in a frequency range from 1 MHz to 6 GHz. The device has a built in Local Oscillator which can be controlled and powered by a PC running Windows, Linux or Android via its USB port. The oscillator will tune from 85 MHz to 5 GHz in 1 Hz steps using an advanced sigma-delta modulator PLL that delivers low fractional spurious products and excellent phase noise. It has nonvolatile on board memory so it can be programmed to fire up by itself to any LO frequency, FSK modulation, or another settings. It is available in a module that measures 6.35 x 3.5 x 1.9 cm and is ideal for software defined radios, radar, frequency upconversion and downconversion applications.
