The 4400-8-31.5 from Spectrum Control is a 4-channel Programmable Attenuator that operates from 0.1 to 8 GHz. It provides an attenuation range of up to 31.5 dB with a step size of 0.5 dB and switching speed of 50 ns. The attenuator has an insertion loss of less than 2.2 dB and can handle an input power of up to 28 dBm with a VSWR of less than 1.9:1. It can be controlled via either USB 2.0 or 10/100Base-T ethernet interfaces and has an AUX connector that provides a logic-level SYNC output signal.

This attenuator can be powered by the USB port and draws 100 mA of current when the control interface is the USB port and draws 200 mA when the control interface is USB / Ethernet. It is available in a module that measures 2.60 x 6.00 x 0.69 inches with SMA-Female connectors and is ideal for automated test equipment (ATE), 3G/4G LTE/5G/DVB fading test simulation, MU-MIMO, WiMax, Wi-Fi testing, mobile handover, and traffic simulation test environments.
