The 50P-2013 from JFW Industries is a solid state programmable attenuator that operates from 200 MHz to 6 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 0 to 63 dB dB with 1 dB steps. The attenuator has a fast switching speed of 1 micro second and can handle an input power of up to 27 dBm (33 dBm no damage). It is available in a module with SMA female connectors and a USB port for power/control.
The attenuator can be controlled using a windows based software provided by JFW industries which can be used to control the attenuation value. Users can also create test scripts which can be executed in Sequential or Synchronous mode. They also provide the option to control the USB attenuators using Python instead of our standard Windows based test program, JFW does offer a Python library.
