The 50PA-1174-XX from JFW Industries is a Programmable, Solid-State, Bi-Directional Variable Attenuator assembly that operates from 200 to 8000 MHz. Assemblies are available with multiple attenuators ranging from 1 to 8 (user can specify the number of attenuators required).
Each attenuator provides an attenuation range from 0 to 63 dB in 0.5 dB steps, has an insertion loss of less than 5.3 dB, and a switching speed of 1 microsecond. The attenuators can handle the input power of up to +24 dBm at input port and +15 dBm at output port.
They can be controlled manually with a 20-button keypad and LCD display or remotely via Ethernet/RS-232. The attenuators are available in 19-inch rack mount chassis that measures 19 x 17.22 x 3.47 inches with either N-Type Female or SMA Female connectors.
