The 50PA-1183-XX from JFW Industries is a Bi-Directional, Programmable Attenuator Assembly that operates from 200 to 8000 MHz. It is available with 1 to 8 solid-state step attenuators (user can specify the number of attenuators required), each providing up to 95 dB of attenuation with 1 dB step size. The attenuators have an insertion loss of less than 8 dB and a typical switching speed of 4 µs. It is a bi-directional attenuator assembly, but the ports are labeled “input” and “output” because they have different maximum power ratings with the input ports being rated for +24 dBm while the output ports are rated for +15 dBm.
The attenuators can be individually controlled manually with a 20-button keypad and LCD display or remotely via Ethernet/RS-232. This attenuator assembly is available in a 19-inch rack-mount chassis that measures 19 x 17.22 x 3.06 with SMA (F) and N-Type (F) connectors.
