The PE43670 from pSemi is a high linearity, 7-bit RF Digital Step Attenuator (DSA) that operates from 9 kHz to 4 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 31.75 dB with 0.25 dB steps. The attenuator has a parallel or serial-addressable CMOS control interface. It maintains high attenuation accuracy over frequency and temperature and has very low insertion loss of under 2.4 dB. This DSA is available in a 5 x 5 x 0.85 mm 32-lead QFN package.

The PE43670 is manufactured on pSemi’s UltraCMOS™ process, a patented variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology on a sapphire substrate, offering the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS.
