The DTA-100M40G-30-CD-1-BCD from Quantic PMI is a 6-bit Programmable Attenuator that operates from 100 MHz to 40 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 30 dB which can be controlled in 1 dB steps and has an attenuation accuracy of ±1.0 dB (at +25°C). This attenuator has an insertion loss of 5 dB (up to 20 GHz) & 7.5 dB (up to 40 GHz) and a switching time of less than 1 μs (on time) & 0.5 μs (off time). It can handle a CW power of up to +24 dBm and has an input 1 dB compression of +17 dBm (for attenuation of more than 10 dB) with a VSWR of 2.5:1. This attenuator requires a DC supply of +12 V to +15 V and consumes less than 50 mA of current. It can be controlled via a 6-bit BCD control interface. This attenuator is available in a module that measures 2.0 x 1.8 x 0.5 inches with 2.92mm (F) and 15 Pin Micro-D female connectors with Micro-D mating connectors.
