The 1910-960-1215 from Technical Services Laboratory is an 8-Bit Digital Attenuator that operates from 960 to 1215 MHz. It has been developed for secondary surveillance radar (SSR) and TACAN applications. The attenuator has an attenuation range of 24 dB with a resolution of 0.1 dB and a switching time of 360 ns. It can handle up to 20 dB of CW input power and up to 30 dBm of peak input power. The attenuator has an insertion loss of 3.5 dB and a VSWR of less than 1.6:1. It has a TTL serial or parallel control and is designed primarily for RF applications that require high accuracy. This attenuator requires a DC supply of ± 5 V and is available in a module with coaxial connectors that measures 15.2 x 8.9 x 2.1 cm.
