The LDA-608V-4 from Vaunix is a 4-Channel Digital Attenuator that operates from 200 to 8000 MHz. It has 4 independently controlled attenuator paths which provide an attenuation range of 60 dB in 0.1 dB steps (minimum) and has a switching speed of 15 µs. This attenuator can handle an input power of up to 2 W and has an insertion loss of less than 8 dB. It is USB powered, requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 75 mA of current. The attenuator can be programmed for fixed attenuation, swept attenuation ramps and fading profiles directly from the included Graphical User Interface (GUI). This attenuator can be controlled via USB or Ethernet interfaces.
The LDA-608V-4 has USB port that uses a native HID interface to avoid the difficulties inherent in using older serial or IEEE-488 interfaces implemented over USB. The Ethernet interface is password protected and configurable for Static IP or DHCP with the ability to assign the HTTP port for extra security. It is available in a module that measures 174.8 x 53.5 x 19.9 mm with SMA-female connectors and is ideal for Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6E, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, microwave radio fading simulators, engineering/production test labs and automated test equipment (ATE) applications.
