The RSDU-2X4AR from Becker RF is a highly integrated signal distribution device for the production test of broadcast devices, like car radios that operate from 100 kHz to 2.5 GHz. It combines the distribution of test signals like AM, FM, DAB, SDARS or GNSS with the DC measurement functions required to validate phantom voltage for antenna supply. On top there is a wide range of integrated level adjustments allowing test scenarios down to the sensitivity testing and up to dynamic range testing. It can supply up to 8 antenna connectors and has a daisy-chain output to extend the number of antenna connectors to multiples of 8.
For simple use in the production environment, it is normally remote-controlled via LAN. But it offers also control from a local laptop via an intuitive graphical user interface for maintenance on the production site.
Becker Nachrichtentechnik offers a wide portfolio of signal routing and distributing devices optimized for the lab, validation and production environments of radio equipment. Target applications are both in the broadcast and in the connectivity/cellular domain.
