The 210A from ACST GmbH is a Biasable Frequency Doubler that converts input frequencies from 67.5 to 80 GHz to output frequencies from 135 to 160 GHz. It can handle an input power of 26 dBm and has a VSWR of less than 1.90:1. This frequency doubler allows for building cost-effective mmWave sources combined with commonly available high-power amplifier MMIC technology. It is based on ACST’s high-power multiplier technology and includes a balanced configuration to suppress undesired harmonics.
The 210A is available in a gold-plated module that measures 22.5 x 22.0 x 20.0 mm and has a WR-12 waveguide interface at the input and a WR-6.5 waveguide interface at the output port. It is ideal for active imaging, laboratory instrumentation, mmWave FMCW radars, LO sources for mm/sub-mmWave heterodyne receivers, and 5G telecommunications applications.
