The 213A From ACST GmbH is a Frequency Tripler that converts input frequencies from 66.66 – 78.33 GHz to output frequencies from 200 – 300 GHz. It provides an output power of +16.5 dBm and has a Conversion efficiency of up to 24%. This frequency tripler is based on ACST’s high-power multiplier technology that allows for building cost-effective mmWave sources in combination with powerful commercially available high-power amplifier MMIC technologies. It has a balanced configuration to suppress undesired harmonics and includes a calibrated bias box for bias control at specified input power levels.
The 213A can be integrated with other components such as horn antenna, waveguide sections, fixed attenuators and dedicated signal sources for various purposes. It is available in a module that measures 22 x 20 mm with WR-12 input waveguide interface and WR-4.3 output waveguide interface. This frequency tripler is ideal for laboratory instrumentation, mmWave FMCW radars, active imaging, LO sources, and 5G communication applications.
