The ADH561S from Analog Devices is an Active 2x Frequency Multiplier that operates from 8 to 21 GHz. It provides an output power of +17 dBm (when driven by a +5 dBm drive level signal) with an SSB phase noise of -139 dBc/Hz (@100 kHz offset) and maintains good system noise performance. This frequency doubler utilizes GaAs PHEMT technology and requires a DC supply from 4.5 to 5.5 V. It is available as a die that measures 0.87 x 1.53 x 0.10 mm and is ideal for use in LO multipliers chains for space, aerospace, military, point-to-point and VSAT radios, test instrumentation, sensors, and clock generation applications.
