The NW18G-MI from NoiseWave is a Noise Generator that operates from 2 to 18 GHz. The device provides an output power of -14 dBm and has a flatness of +/-2.5 dB. It has a noise attenuator of 9 dB that can be used in 1 dB steps. This noise generator comes with a front panel rotary attenuator to vary the output level. It is available in a half-rack case with SMA Female connectors and is suitable for component wireless testing, signal simulation, HDTV and CATV testing, and bit error rate testing applications.
The NW18G-MI requires an AC power of 100 to 240 V and provides white Gaussian noise at the output while operating over a temperature range from -20 to +75ºC.
