The NC3000 Series from Maury Microwave are AWGN Noise Sources that operate from 10 MHz to 110 GHz. They are ideal for receiver testing, noise figure measurements, and any application requiring broad bandwidths and fast switching times. These Noise Generators deliver ENR noise output from 23 to 27 dB and have a noise output variation of less than 0.01 dB/°C. They have an noise output rise/fall time of under 1 μs and a VSWR of less than 3:1. These Noise Sources require a 28 V DC supply and typically consume 20 mA of current.
Like all Maury Microwave noise sources, the NC3000 Series features hermetically sealed noise diodes and each noise source is supplied with calibration data for the full frequency band. These noise sources are suitable for applications such as radar warning receivers (RWR), built-in equipment (BITE), military aircraft, automotive radar, ultra-low latency wireless backhaul and 802.11ad high-speed Wi-Fi.
