The NC2000 Series from Noisecom are Amplified Noise Modules that operate from 100 Hz to 2 GHz. They have a crest factor of 5:1 and a high-end roll-off of 6 dB per octave. These noise modules are ideal for providing high-level noise output while mounted on a circuit board. They have an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C (military) and a temperature coefficient of 0.025 dB/°C. These modules require a DC supply of 15 V and consume less than 100 mA of current. They are available in 24-pin dual in-line packages (optional 14-pin dual in-line packages) and are ideal for dither circuitry for A/D converters, communications jamming, gain-bandwidth product testing and built-in test equipment (bite) applications.
