The UFX7000A from Noisecom is a Programmable Gaussian (AWGN) Noise Generator that operates from 10 Hz to 40 GHz. The standard configuration has a broadband noise source and noise path attenuator with a maximum attenuation range of 127 dB in 1 dB steps. It is available in a rack mount unit that measures 17.25 x 6.50 x 19.50 inches with SMA female connectors. This device is ideal for BER testing, military jamming, GPS receiver testing and spectrum analyzer calibration applications. The unit has a touch-screen TFT display, mouse, and keyboard for manual control, or standard Ethernet for ATE remote control. Optional IEEE 488.2 GPIB and RS232 remote interfaces are also available.
