The AXIOM75SH from AXTAL is a Space-Qualified Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) that operates from 80 to 125 MHz. It provides sinewave output waveforms with a phase noise of -175 dBc/Hz (at 10 kHz offset) and has a frequency stability of ±50 ppb (vs. temperature). This commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) OCXO has a warm-up time of up to 3 minutes and a g-sensitivity of 0.5 ppb/g. It has been tested for radiation-hardness with a total ionizing dose (TID) of 40 krad (Si) and offers excellent SEL immunity. This low-cost OCXO requires a DC supply of 12 V and consumes less than 300 mA (warm-up) and 150 mA (steady-state) of current. It is available in a hermetically sealed through-hole package that measures 25.8 x 25.8 x 12.7 mm and is ideal for LEO applications.
