The LNMO from Safran is a Space Qualified Crystal Oscillator with a frequency of 10 MHz (frequencies from 5 to 40 MHz available upon request). It produces an output signal of 7 dBm with an SSB phase noise of -140 dBc/Hz @ 1 kHz offset and frequency stability of ± 1x10-9 over a wide temperature range. The oscillator has a standard warm-up time of 10 minutes and a fast warm-up time of 5 minutes. It has a rad tolerance of up to 100 krad, spurious signals of -120 dBc, and harmonics of -40 dBc. This oscillator requires a DC supply of 12/15 V, consumes less than 2.5 W of power during operation and 4 W of power when warming up.
This crystal oscillator is designed with the latest technologies, providing advanced features, such as long lifetime, high reliability, lightweight, and ultra-low phase noise, for next-generation space applications.
The LNMO is available in a compact package that measures 50 x 50 x 30 mm with solderable pins and/or SMA connectors. It is ideal for use in navigation, GNSS/GPS receivers, down and up converters, transponders, FGU, board calculator, synthesizer, SAR, and space applications.
