The SiT8008B from SiTime is a Programmable Oscillator that operates from 1 to 110 MHz. It provides an LVCMOS/HCMOS output, has frequency stability from ±20 to ±50 ppm and an RMS phase jitter of 1.3 ps. The oscillator uses FlexEdge technology which provides configurable drive strength for slower rise/fall times to minimize EMI. It also leads to cost savings by driving multiple loads and eliminating the need for additional timing components. The oscillator requires a supply voltage of 1.68-3.63 V, consumes under 4.5 mA of current under load and requires a typical standby current of 1.2 µA.

The SiT8008B is available in a surface-mount package with operating temperatures suitable for extended commercial or industrial purposes. It is ideal for a variety of applications which include ethernet, USB, SATA/SAS, fibre channel, solid-state drives (SSD), servers and data-centers, processor clocking, networking switches and gateways, CCTV and surveillance equipment, industrial probes and equipment, medical devices, factory automation, medical electronics, test and measurement, consumer electronics, home automation and home appliances.
