The 9404A-25 from Pico Technology is a Sampler-Extended Real-Time Oscilloscope (SXRTO) that has an analog bandwidth of 25 GHz. It has 4 input channels and a sampling rate of up to 5 TS/s with a time resolution of up to 10 ps/div. This SXRTO has a 12-bit resolution which is maintained throughout the bandwidth irrespective of the number of channels enabled. It can record high-speed signals such as gigabit digital systems on up to four channels at once and can measure high-speed interfaces with repetitive signals or clock streams. This oscilloscope can capture step transitions down to 14 ps and impulses down to 28 ps.
The 9404A-25 triggers on the input signal using an analog triggering circuit that is much more accurate than a digital trigger. This enables its free-running ADC to capture and store information before and after the trigger point but with huge bandwidth capabilities. It supports 53 automatic measurements and up to 10 simultaneous measurements. This SXRTO requires a DC supply of 12 V, consuming less than 2.8 A of current. It can be controlled via USB 2.0/3.0 and Ethernet (LAN) interfaces. This oscilloscope is available in an enclosure that measures 244 x 54 x 233 mm and has 2.92 mm (k) female & SMA female connectors. It is ideal for digital system design, timing & phase analysis, service & manufacturing, and telecom & radar testing applications.
