The 9404-05 from PicoScope is a 5 GHz Sampler-Extended Real-time Oscilloscope (SXRTO) that combines the benefits of real-time sampling, equivalent-time sampling and high analog bandwidth. It has 4 input channels with excellent ADC, timing, and display resolution for accurately measuring and visualizing high-speed analog and data signals. The oscilloscope has a narrow analog bandwidth from DC to 100 MHz, a transition time of 70 ps and 1 TS/s (1 ps resolution) random equivalent-time sampling.
The PicoScope SXRTOs offer random sampling, which can readily analyze high-bandwidth applications that involve repetitive signals or clock-related streams. It has built-in internal trigger on every channel, with pre-trigger random sampling to well above the Nyquist (real-time) sampling rate. The oscilloscope requires a supply voltage of 12 V, consumes less than 2.6 A of current and supports automatic shutdown on excess or reverse voltage. It has USB 2.0 (high speed)/USB 3.0 and Ethernet LAN for PC connection.
The 9404-05 is based on the PicoSample 4 software which is touch-compatible. The display can be resized to fit any window and fully utilize available display resolution, 4K and even larger or across multiple monitors. Four independent zoom channels can show different views. Most of the controls and status panels can be shown or hidden according to the application, allowing optimal use of the display area.
The 9404-05 is available in an enclosure that measures 245 x 220 x 60 mm and is suitable for applications such as telecom and radar test, service and manufacturing, optical fiber transceiver and laser testing (optical to electrical conversion not included), RF, microwave and gigabit digital system measurements, Signal, eye, pulse and impulse characterization, Precision timing and phase analysis, Digital system design and characterization, Ethernet, HDMI 1, PCI, SATA and USB 2.0, Semiconductor characterization, Signal, data and pulse/impulse integrity and pre-compliance test.
