The HMC833LP6GE from Analog Devices (Hittite) is a low noise, Fractional-N Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) with an integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillator. It has an integrated VCO output divider and doubler that allows the device to generate frequencies from 25 to 6000 MHz. The integrated Phase Detector and delta-sigma modulator, capable of operating at up to 100 MHz, permit wider loop-bandwidths with excellent spectral performance. This PLL can be used in cellular infrastructure, microwave radio, WiMax, WiFi, CATV equipment, military applications and DDS replacements. It is available in a compact 40 Lead 6x6 mm SMT Package.
