The EDPLO-2000 from Exodus Dynamics is a PLDRO that can be developed to operate at a single frequency from 1 to 40 GHz. The EDPLO-2000 is internally referenced locked and factory tuned to a specified frequency, however, has a mechanical tuning range of 100 MHz. It provides an output power of up to 25 dBm while operating over supply of 12 V or 15 V @220 mA. The PLDROs are buffered by a cascaded low-noise driver and power amplifiers for minimum load pulling, maximum isolation, and power. This series is internally voltage regulated to avoid reverse bias, frequency pushing, bias modulation, and voltage transients.
The PLDRO is available in a module that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.67 inches with SMA female or 2.92 mm female connectors and is ideal for Satcom, LAN, GPS, test equipments, space, military and digital radio applications.
