The EDPLO-3000 from Exodus Dynamics is a Series of Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (PLDRO) that operate from 1 to 40 GHz. They deliver an output power of 13 dBm with a phase noise of -120 dBc/Hz @100 kHz at 12 GHz and harmonic suppression of -25 dBc. These oscillators are designed using an ultra-low noise amplifier with series feedback at the source and a Dielectric Resonator at the gate. High gain, low noise devices are biased and matched precisely to ensure minimum phase noise. They require a DC supply voltage of 12 or 15 V and consumes less than 300 mA of current.
These internally referenced oscillators utilize advanced MIC and SMT technology to generate crystal stability at microwave and mm-wave bands up to 40 GHz. The low profile and rugged construction provide excellent durability against harsh environmental conditions such as Shock/ Vibration, Temperature and Humidity. They feature a phase lock indicator alarm of TTL type and are internally voltage regulated to avoid reverse bias, frequency pushing, bias modulation and voltage transients.
These rugged and RoHS-compliant oscillators are available in a module that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 1.25 Inch with SMA Female or 2.92 mm connectors. They are ideal for use in Commercial, military, airborne, space, missile guidance, CATV, SATCOM, GPS, test equipment, digital radios, point-to-point, transmitters & receivers, up / down converters, traffic sign post, and LMDS applications.
