The Fractional-N PLDRO from Polaris is a Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (PLDRO) with an output frequency from 5 to 28 GHz. It has a frequency resolution of 1 kHz, can deliver more than 13 dBm of output power with a phase noise of -123 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset (6 GHz output frequency). The PLDRO has spurious levels of -75 dBc and harmonics of better than -20 dBc. It requires a DC supply of 12 V.
This PLDRO is available in an enclosure that measures 57.15 x 80.00 x 33.00 mm (with internal OCXO) and has SMA connectors. It is suitable for use in radar systems, VSAT/SATCOM systems, test equipment, microwave transmitters and receivers, cable TV links, up/down converters, LMDS and missile guidance applications.
