The ADQ7DC from Teledyne Signal Processing Devices is a high-end 14-bit PXI Digitizer designed to meet the most challenging measurement situations. It can be operated in either single or dual-channel mode with a 5 or 10 GSPS sampling rate. The DC-coupled front-end of this digitizer supports variable DC-offsets and contains a user-programmable digital noise-reduction filter. It also offers 3 GHz analog input bandwidth and therefore supports a wide range of sensors and applications.
The ADQ7DC has a number of application-specific firmware packages included that simplifies operation and saves time by providing a rich set of real-time functions without any need for FPGA firmware development. The open onboard Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale FPGA offers available resources for custom real-time digital signal processing (DSP). It also supports peer-to-peer data streaming to selected graphics processing units (GPUs) at rates up to 7 Gbyte/s.
The ADQ7DC features high-precision synchronization and trigger capabilities that make it ideal for large-scale multi-channel installations. It also features White Rabbit synchronization over large distances via Ethernet. The digitizer is sold with a software development kit (SDK) that include application programming interfaces (APIs) and drivers for C/C++, MATLAB and more. Most software components are supported both under Windows and Linux.
The ADQ7DC is available with a PXI interface and is suitable for use in various applications such as RADAR, LIDAR, wireless communication, L-band direct sampling, high-speed RF data recording, time-of-flight, scientific instruments, particle physics, semiconductor test, ATE, test and measurement and quantum technology.
